Using Fast Cam
Fast Cam is a highly advanced feature that allows the browser to refresh images right from your computer, instead of having to go through the ftp server first. You may not be able to use Fast Cam if you are behind a firewall or proxy due to IP address issues.
To find out if you are able to use Fast Cam, first click on the
button, then go to the Fast Cam Settings tab. Now click on the
button. This will either give you the IP address for your computer, or report that you are not able to use Fast Cam.
Now that you have that information, you can set up the Web Page to refresh the Web Cam image directly from your computer. Click on the
button, then select the type of page you want to display (Standard, Pop-up, or Buddies). Just before you upload the HTML page, check the box that reads "Use FastCam Image." Now, instead of the standard <img src=> tag, the web page will use something like this:
<img src="http://133.44.22.1:8080"> with your IP address listed. The web page will now refresh directly from your computer.
You do this by going to Tools->Fast Cam On/Off
