Create Special Characters

By default, a browser does not recognize all characters you enter into your code. For instace, a < or a > sign is normally not printed to the screen, because the browser interprets this as a tag. But what if you really need to use one of these characters?

There are special codes browsers will recognize to use as these characters, and the Html Editor can generate these codes for you. To use these codes, first click the "View Special Characters" button. This will open a display for all of the special characters you can insert on your page.

Now position your cursor at the point where you want the character to appear, and then click on the character. The code will automatically be placed for you.
